Coach Jared Chavez founded Forged Academy to bring old school fundamentals to a new generation of basketball players. Born and raised in San Jose, he played collegiate basketball at Foothill College before finding his real calling on the sideline.
He has coached since 2019, starting as a middle school assistant and going on to build his own player development programs and found the Bay Area Hurricanes AAU travel program.
Every session is built on discipline, accountability, and basketball IQ, forging players who are ready for whatever the game throws at them.
